vacuum amplifier?
« on: July 25, 2005, 12:42:12 AM »
Hey guys,

I'm doing a duraspark conversion on a '84 Ranger (gets rid of the computer controlled feedback carb and distributor and replaces it with a Pinto carb and distributor). I'm trying to hook up as many of my emissions controls as I can by hooking it up like in a Pinto. In the Pinto vacuum diagrams I have looked at, there is something called a vacuum amplifier. My Google searches have revealed nothing about it, or where to get one. Can any of you Pinto guys elaborate on this? And if anyone has a vacuum diagram for a '78 Pinto that would be awesome!
