If you have a V6 in your Pinto check this out  http://www.mustangiitech.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=517 to see a ton of stuff about the V6 engine.

Ahh, the much maligned Mustang II.  I think the Pinto association, the first Mustang with a 4 cylinder, anemic V-8 (previous car had 351) really set the Mustang II back.  However, today there is a certain charm to the car, - just like there is with the Pinto.

The V-6 at the time was not the mileage of the 4 cylinder, nor the power of the V-8.  Today it is about the narrowest V-6 engine I can recall. It found its way into many a tight engine swap.  I find it cool that today we can appreciate something that in its day was less thought of.  I'm sure the V-6 Pinto owners here can appreciate the article.

I look at Mustangiitech ever day for really good tech that covers both Mustang II and Pintos.

Yep been though the little 2.8 over the years , maybe I should contact the guy and see if he wants to buy some rare hooker headers for it , the best part they are "new"
They only fit the mustang II ,
