V6 replacement carb
« on: April 21, 2013, 10:17:23 AM »
Just got a 1978 V6 Cailfornia emissions wagon and it idles rough and runs rich. I friend recommended that we rip off all the smog stuff (pump, unneeded vacuum lines, etc) are put an aftermarket 2 barrel carb such as a Holley or Weber on it. I assume it has been done many times and wanted to know which carb (and needed extra parts) you guys recommend. Thanks.

Modest beginnings start with the single blow of a horn man..    Now when you get through with this thing every dickhead in the world is gonna wanna own it.   Do you know anything at all about the internal combustion engine?
