hi..
has anyone experienced uneven fuel.distribut ion between cyllenders in a 2.0?
I installed a new factory jetted weber DGV on my 73 wagon and drive moderately daily. manual choke always full open except to start.
Stock rebuild, 5000 miles, stock cam and cyls 2 and 3 run rich but 1 and 4 lean.
no vacuum leaks, compression 170 +- 10 on all cyls.all.ign wires good. pertronix flame.thrower ign.
car runs ok, 16-18 MPG in town 23-26 on the highway.
the weber primary and secondary are reversed from the original 5200. i suspect possibly just the manifold design?

Are the primaries on the inside or outside. If inside then likely yes the design might be the issue as the air/fuel would follow the shortest path and 1-4 cause the flow to need to pull away to the outer runners. What happened with the SU's?

the primary is on the inside toward the engine...since the weber is reverse of the holley 5200
The SUs worked well but i had the.same.probl em.with 2,3 running rich and 1 ,4 lean.with the new manifold. the other one with the plenum had better distribution
i think it was charge robbing..
im re doing the new one to have a plenum
