Turns over! Wont start?
« on: April 08, 2006, 10:20:36 PM »
My 2.3 turbo is currently in a 1985 Mazdz RX7. It is to be swaped over to the 1978 Pinto this summer but it has decided to stop running. It gets spark, gas, timing is perfect! The C3 tranny has been acting up a bit and wonder if this could play the part. When I put it into gear it should jump forward, I did remove the neutral safety so I am thinking thats what it would do. It didnt! I dont understand how it could run fine one day and not the next still having spark and gas. Please help so this engine can finally see its true home in the Pinto. Thanks.
Must have more POWER!!!! Gimmee Gimmee Gimmee!!

Does your car have any main relays? If it does check it out.

Check all your ground wires.Especial ly the one under the hood going to the computer. If it is disconnected or rusty the engine will not start.
