turbo on a 2.3 NA 8 plug engine?
« on: June 05, 2013, 12:00:52 PM »
How well would it work out to turbo a 2.3 na engine with the 8 plugs and DIS ignition? I know id need to add forged pistons... but with the DIS engine being MAF (mass air flow) instead of speed density or VAM, wouldnt it work with the fuel injection system ok? I like the idea of the DIS itself also.

Yes, it should but check with Turboford.org ,it has been done and discussed in detail. Lot's of info about this kind of swap.
