trim removal questions
« on: September 15, 2013, 12:20:34 AM »
Hello all...I'm in the process of painting my Pinto a medium green metallic basecoat and clearcoat.  I have the hood and cowl painted, but I'm getting ready to get the doors, roof, hatch, and rear quarter panels done.  I'm just wondering how to remove the trim around the door windows and the rear windows.  The rear windows have a screw, but after that I still couldn't get it off.  Is there any trick or tool to getting it off?  I'm going to buy a windshield trim removal tool for that stuff.  Also, just curious if there is anything special needed to remove the chrome trim above the windows?  Thanks!
