Well..., probably not applicable but "No," - if your going from a C-4 to a T-5 (in a '73). You simply reverse the crossmember and slot a few holes.  I even reused the old mount from the C-4 onto the T-5.  And I'm not even sure if the hole slotting was necessary.  I might have only done that "just in case."

On '80 I changed mount only going from standard 4 speed to ATX. Crossmember stayed the same.
