totaled 77 pinto, need chassis bad
« on: May 27, 2012, 11:46:16 PM »
I have a 77 pinto i totaled over the weekend, i have way to much time into this car, all brand new everything, years of restoring, does any body have a chassis they are willing to sell cheap so i dont have to start completely over with? i might need a bottom end also.

i was driving and engine died in a turn and drug the rear causing me to spin out and hit a grass inbankment doing 30, k member is pushed back about 3 inches. i would perfer the body look decent, 74-77 preferably, im in louisville kentucky, help please all i need is a shell, i dont even need wheels, glass missing, i have all glass, no dragging wagons, trunk or all glass is good with me.

i noticed that this 'shell' has been cut from just ahead of the rear door opening and at the bottom of the windshield .  there appears to be no floor or floor pans or any of the front structure at all.
the only substitute for cubic inches is BOOST!!!

i found a 77 rallye pinto, it looks like a ralley, has all the options, ALL OF THE OPTIONS, ac, tach, sunroof, pop out quarters, leather or just better looking interior, the sunroof is alittle too rusty, would need a new frame around it, but other than that a good looking car, im just taking the parts i want off of it, the guy is debating on the quarter windows thoe, after i get what i want, im going to post where you can get cars or parts, the guy has like 8 of them, a 71 few 75s two 80 style , all trunk models, this guy wants them all gone

Well that's good that you've found a car that has lead a hard life. Sounds like all it was worth is parts
