Has anyone changed the upper door hinge ? Does the fender have to come off? Thank you!

I had to change it on my car & I found it can be done without removing the front fender but it is MUCH MUCH easier to do it without the fender on the car.

Hi, the trouble is I work by myself and the door is HEAVY and I am not really that muscular any more! I think I read a post here a help kit can be used to take the play out of a door. The door opens and closes ok but has a lot of play when it is opened a little bit and when driving over Pennsylvania's lovely well manicured thoroughfares it rattles when closed. Another of many little things, but I got the water pump changed and working!
