Sway bar ?
« on: April 05, 2012, 10:09:39 AM »
I just noticed that my '78 Pinto sedan does not have a front sway bar on it. It doesn't look like it has never had one on it. It there any chance that it didn't
have one on it from the factory? I don't know if any Pintos were made without a sway bar. I have one from a parts car that I could put on it, but I don't think I will if it didn't have one factory. Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

usually only the "Sport, Ralley and Cruising Wagons had them. Any Pinto likey could have one but not uncommon for them to not come with sway bars from the factory. Sway bars will improve handling/body roll so if you want add it feel free

I've had three 1980 Pony Pintos, and all 3 had a front sway bar. One of them was a MPG model.
