Strut arms-different from 74-78 and 79/80?
« on: October 13, 2018, 05:23:21 AM »
I'm confused.
Speedway lists strut arms, but say they don't fit a 1979 Pinto, only 74-78.
Is there something I am missing?  :-[ :-\ :o
Thanks,

Do believe they are the same , replaced all my bushings in my 79 cruse wagon and the part book for them said 74 to 80 , but speedway also call the parts mustang two , which was only made 74 to 78 , that could be why it’s listed that way, most call it a mustang two suspension set up to put under the race cars and street rods , best is just run down to your local parts store and toss in the years and see for sure , but I have swapped those parts before from 80s to a 74 , they fit , Hope this helps you , later Blaine

Thanks.
That is what I was thinking, but (don't tell my wife) I have been known to be wrong before.
