I need to do the same thing, I was thinking maybe a Mustang II have a substitute.

I saw these and thought they might work?

The other thing would be...are they really needed?

I have always owned Chrysler products when it comes to classic cars and the spring perches sit right on the springs directly with no isolators.

I just placed a wanted ad and started surfing posts. I think we want the same part. The rubber insulators for rear leaf springs. Ford # D4FZ-5741-A / 1pkg of 2  INSULATOR. Had a local Dealer Ck and nothing! If ad don't work might have to go to spring shop. I'm going to ck out possible Older Comet insulators look close. Just FYI'N :-\

I have been trying for a wk. closest I have found would be caugar or galaxy but they use a round centered not the elongated style .also most places I called only showed 2" or 2/3/4 nothing in 2 1/2?There must be a replacement as mustang II use the same. keep me posted if you have any luck

I just had the springs done 3 months ago. My mechanic found some from a ford pickup. He said they were wider but he just trimmed them down and now they are perfect. If anyone wants to know what they are, just let me know, I will find out.
