Title: Spray dyed plastic panels, how well does it hold up?

Has anyone used the good automotive plastic paint that you apply with a spray gun? If so, how is it holding up to daily use & the sun cooking it?
 
Eventually I plan to change my wagon interior to red & I'm thinking spraying the plastic may be easier than finding all the red plastic.

I dyed a couple small items in my Saleen using SEM paint and so far two years and no issues.  I used all the prep and adhesion sprays they recommend.

hey pinto,  angie cleaned up all our red plastic using a paint called KRYLON

how well it will hold up should be good.  angie swears by the stuff so time shall tell.  fresh out of the spray bomb.  worth looking into.

 Thats what I used on my kick panels theyre still pretty red and nice except for a few smudge marks from someones shoes. But no paint peeled even from that just some marks on them.

I'm happy to hear that paint holds up well. I had some sprayed parts that were peeling already when I bought my '73 but thats probably due to crappy prep & cheap Wal Mart paint.
 
I have plenty of time before I get that far on this car so I'm sure I'll have some red plastic by then but I'll give spray a shot for the pieces I can't round up.
