79 Bobcat some type of 2 wire sensor behind grille in front of a.c. condenser, I'm sure someone knows what it is. Never seen one before. Help me identify please!

that is an ambient temp.switch ,it is wired to the ac clutch and ac system.it is closed when the temp is above 55 deg.f.
