Roof Rack
« on: May 13, 2012, 07:06:13 PM »
I'm restoring 72 wagon.  Roof Rack is original equipment but rusted badly and needs replacement.  Anyone out there know if a place I can buy a new one?  The mounting holes in the roof are quite elaborate, rubber bushings etc. installed.  (No easy job to relocate them so I am thinking it would be great if I can find an exact replacement roof rack. )  Any help is greatly appreciated. jt

Nobody makes a direct replacement for the Pinto. Most parts are not being reproduced as of yet. your best bet is to post an ad in the classifieds for one. Also check with Fred Morgan. He is a big help on here when it comes to used parts. If he has it he will sell it to you for a reasonable price.

I have two from late 70's.  Not perfect.  Tarnished.  Don't know if they fit earlier wagons.
