I was thinking maybe they are stronger, but after reading the catalogs I am not sure.
Thanks,

Only difference with them and Ford spindles, is they are IMCA approved. Never saw a bad Ford spindle unless the car hit a brick wall. They will out last the car many times over. Use what you've got.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

Thanks.

The problem is the car may have hit a brick wall. :-\ It hit something or was hit very hard.
The driver's side frame/fenderwell was replaced from just in front of the crossmember forward and most of the radiator support as well. I don't know if they needed to or did replace any of the suspension, so I am just going to replace all of it. Better safe than sorry. It just won't happen anytime soon.

But it sounds like the IMCA parts would be wasted money, so I will just get the cheaper stock replacements.

What you need is the Wilwood 140 - 11017 brake kit.
Bigger brakes & 5 bolt hubs......I happen to have a new kit.....

Wilwood site says for 71 - 78 cars. Turns out it's for 74 - 78 only. Couldn't return it.

Actually I don't much care for Wilwood. All I want is the Granada upgrade that Summit sells for $250 or something. I like being able to go to any auto parts store and getting replacement parts.
thanks,
