Removing wiper switch...

Hi, tried searching and couldnt find anything. How do I remove the wiper switch on a 1978 ford pinto? Its a knob type switch that you twist...

and it is a pain to get out of the dash after you get it undone from the dash, there is no room for your hand or it to come out easy!! good luck
