For the drip rail,if its like my 80 Pinto, its glued on and will fall apart when you remove it. Some really GOOD glue was used by Ford. The trim around the window, just snaps on.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

X2. I would not be pulling the trim off the drip edge there unless you are not putting it back on. Window trim snaps on but haste taking it off can easily damage it just like any other piece of trim. You always risk damage pulling it depending on how well it's stuck to the car.
