rear hatch window leaking
« on: March 22, 2013, 11:38:50 AM »
Hey guys,

On my 1980 Runabout the rear window is leaking. I previously replaced a missing rear hatch weatherstrippi ng but the other day when I got in the back of the car I noticed the window itself is leaking. Looked & the lip does have some rust but am looking for a temporary fix until I can get around replacing the hatch.  Any ideas? I'm tired of the water leaking in the car from the window.

I should have mentioned the gasket that is on there is still flexible & not hardened

Flowable windshield sealant.  I get it at autozone - it's clear and works good.
