If you've wanted to go really fast in your Pinto, take a look at  http://www.landracing.com   Fastest Pinto on this site was 141 mph.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

And the irony, I remember years ago there were wind tunnel test that stated the Pinto was more aerodynamic backwards than forward.  Anyone remember the Bill Cosby commercials where there were a series of huge fans blowing sideways as Pinto's drove by to illustrate that the "wrap-around sides" made it a stable car in high winds.  That aspect was a real knock on small cars at the time.  So, should you spin sideways in your Pinto don't expect wind resistance to slow you down much!

Hmm, I might have to install Gurney Flaps when I return to Hillclimb racing ;D
Yes, it is possible to study and become a master of Pintosophy.. Not a religion , nothing less than a life quest for non conformity and rational thought. What Horse did you ride in on?
