Putting a V8 in a 1980 Pinto?

Not anytime soon but just wondering b/c looks like theres alot of space to put a v8 in there. Has anyone put a 305,315 etc... in one and what other mods must be done like the drive shaft tranny etc... etc....

lots of info on here about putting a sbf in a Pinto, 305,(chevy?) 315? what are they?
