Title: Put my Pinto on the dyno today
Post by: pinto_one on June 17, 2017, 08:48:52 PM
Drove my car to New Orleans today , O&E speed shop had a run what you brung dyno day , always wondered what my car would make with all the miss matched parts I used on the engine , mostly the fuel injection I made to fit , always thought it ran kind of rich , today I found out , not just rich , it's flooding !  It bogged right at 3000 rpm when the dyno loaded up , but still managed to make 117 hp at the rear wheel and 213 ft lbs of torque at 2900'  time to make a chip to reprogram the computer, lucky the shop there does offer this for the old OB1 Ford computer, their main line of work is mustangs or anything with a Ford engine in it, made a appointment for next month to get it tuned to match , hopefully I will have better numbers next time ,
