PS Pump Relocate

I am swapping a ford Pinto 2.3 turbo into an old 1942 GPW.  The factory location for the power steering pump (driver's side of the motor) is interfering with my steering linkage and the fender so I would like to relocate it to the passenger side of the motor.  There appears to be space for it in this location and I was wondering whether there was a bracket available to mount the PS pump in that location?  Anyone have any thoughts about how best to accomplish this?

A Merkur air condition mount works to relocate the alternator to the other side. Bolts right up to the block. Just MIGHT work for you.

In my collection of Pinto and Mustang photos, the PS pump was always located on the driver's side when they had one.  The alternator, air pump, and A/C compressor have been mounted on the passenger side (not all together).  Maybe on a right hand drive vehicle, the PS pump might be on the other side? 

Just out curiosity, what does GPW stand for and it appears the engine is offset to the driver's side?

Curiosity got me and went looking for GPW.  I see now why the engine is offset.  Click on the transmission tab.  Looks like a challenging project.

Sorry for the long response - I've been outside turning wrenches instead of on the computer for once!
I decided to leave the power steering pump where it is and just trim the fender a little to get it to fit.  Its not ideal but it'll do!
I spent hours trying to get this motor to start again - played with timing, wiring and finally did a compression test and found low compression on cyl 1 and 2...  Pulled hte head and I have a blown head gasket.  Now that the head is off I'm taking it in to get a valve job before reassembling it...
The GPS is a little challenging (at least as far as getting hte motor in there is concerned), but the rest is pretty simple.  It's my first full restore and at least I'm enjoying it!  I cant wait to be driving it though...
