Power to manual rack swap
« on: June 25, 2016, 02:58:41 PM »
Quick question is the swap from power just a rack change and remove power steering pump or is it more involved?

On my 80 Bobcat, I had to change tie rod ends and the rag joint coupling for the manual specific pieces.

I am doing the same thing. Would you mind sharing WHERE you found the manual rag joint? Thanks.

I got lucky and found a pinto in my local pull a part. I was actually searching other fords for something with the same shaft/spline when I stumbled on the pinto.
