Potential '79 wagon to buy
« on: February 21, 2014, 04:05:46 PM »
Hi guys,

It's been a while since i was on here as I no longer have my '75 Bobcat (the ex has it!!)

Anyway there is a '79 wagon for sale locally that has a rebuilt engine with only 10 miles on it but the transmission needs a possible rebuild.
I am just about to embark on a C4 rebuild on my '65 falcon which I feel fairly comfortable with in spite of not having ever done it before but from my recollection the c3 is a lot trickier to rebuild so I'm dubious as to if I should consider buying this car.

If anyone has any thoughts on this any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
