tires
« on: July 04, 2012, 06:30:10 AM »
i have a 75 pinto wagon with original tires A 78 13. I need to replace due to dry rott-should I keep the old tires as they are tread wise great shape and the originals? Also outside of universal tire who sells these?

Any place to go for new exhaust outside of custom making?

thanks
TPK

With 13 inch Tires , there are a Few choices left. I believe that you can ck with Firestone I know they still Offer a 13 inch FR-380 Tire. I kept the Org. Tires on my 1980 Rallye ,they were in nice looking shape still ,and came on the car new. The tire ,as yours were cracking ,and Old  35 years.  Happy hunting, there are tires still out there.   ;)

Try tirerack.com and enter in the tire size you want I.E. 170-70-13 etc if you use the car search it will not work.. Tire racks program is still in the 1970's regarding tire sizes for Pintos.

Also check ebay. I hear they are a good place to find 13" tires
