pinto vs. mustang ll

I am wanting to use 2 inch drop spindles on my 1980 wagon. All searches direct me to Mustang ll parts. Are the spindles the same on the two cars? I have contacted a couple of the manufacturers of them, and they cannot give me a straight answer. Also. If anyone has a set, they would like to part with, I would be interested.

Yes, they are the same (74 up)   From my own experiance I strongly suggest you pay a little more from a reliable place such as SpeedWay or some place like that. I tried to save a buck and got mine off ePay and the castings needed  alot of 'work' for caliper bracket mounting bolts etc.
