Pinto '78 speed-o seal
« on: August 04, 2018, 02:36:02 PM »
Hello,
My FOG german gerabox is leaking oil by speed-o cable at gearbbox. I imagine there is an O-ring or seal. Unfortunately I don't know Ford parts # or a decent substitute.
Your help will be appreciated..

I think (been a LONG time) there is an O-ring there.  any decent parts store should have an assortment of O-rings on hand that you use to try to match one up.
the only substitute for cubic inches is BOOST!!!

Its an o ring.. also hardware stores like Lowes or Home Depot have o rings in the plumbing dept... any o ring that fits will work... its not a precision fit..
