grille for '73
« on: February 09, 2017, 01:38:55 AM »
Hi. Do ALL the early/first Pinto grilles fit and bolt up exactly the same, all those first ones that look alike? These are my favorites, but I ask because I need to know if they all fit a '73 Pinto. What years, all those? Do any of those first grills that look alike not fit a '73?   Thank you. Bill
If the price is good,want a '71,'72,or'73 Pinto,not a wagon,with small FORDv8,ideally289,with bigger cam,built for87octane,solid,stiffened body&suspension,man str,OR at least very good(prefEXC)body&interior.INTER IOR MUST BE BLACK.Perfectl y straight bumpers.If no engine,tranny,or exhaust,that's fine.

I have not checked but the link below seems to imply the 71-73 grilles are the same.

The differences between the 71-73 and the 74-75 is due to the hood latch.  71-73 use an external latch to release the hood where the 74-75, the hood release is via cable from the inside of the car.
