Pinchero conversion questions
« on: August 29, 2016, 04:38:19 PM »
Hello,

I am brand new to the Pinto world but have business history primarily with the Pantera. I have always liked the Pinto look an decided to buy a wagon and build a toy.  After looking around a bit on the web this weekend, apparently the Pinto-Ranchero or as it was called the Pinchero has been built. I was going to call it the Pinchera since the wheels were going to be from the Pantera---Oh well.

I read that a kit was made some years ago so would anyone have the name and contact info for the guy who once hade the conversion kit available? I make a lot of parts both in composite and metal but in this case, someone has possible made this project easy.

I will have allot of questions as the concept progresses so is this the right area to ask? Once the project get rolling, the build section is appropriate, correct?

If anyone would like to see some of my work or history, you can visit the POCA site or google Kirk Evans Pantera AmeriSport and this will take you to various stories and the AmeriSport website.

It's been along time since I've built a fun toy for my self, and in this case my grandson in a few years and I'm looking forward to adding to your forum.

Thank you
'

First welcome.
I'm not aware of any kits. Of the ones I've seen in pictures all very in design. My understanding is you need a second hatch at least for your project. We would love to see your progress .
