1 year, 12,000 miles I believe. That's what mine was.

Not sure what year Pinto you need info on, but I just checked my Ford Warranty Facts Booklet for the 1974 Ford cars (published in Sept '73) It covers 1974 Model Capri, Comet, Courier, Maverick, Mustang II and Pinto. And it does say Ford and the Selling dealer jointly warranty said vehicle for 12 months or 12,000 miles.  The original battery is also covered for this same period. Tires are not covered by Ford or the dealer. They are covered by the Manufacturer and vary by type of tire. However....... ....the booklet states "The improved bumper system on your 1974 Ford product meets all federal Standards for low-impact rate shocks. the warranty on your 1974 bumper system, like those for previous years, will not apply to any impact-related structural damage, sheet metal damage, bumper or bumper system damage, or damage to a functional componet as a result of impact at any speed that the vehicle may be traveling."
Gotta love those big bumpers....... .............I think the '79 and '80 models had a little better warranty, but not by much.  12,000 miles is not very far.
