Trans Shift Kit C-3 Transmission
« on: January 07, 2012, 12:47:02 PM »
Ok I did a search on this ,and I didnt see  alot of info. If anyone has installed a Transgo C-3 Kit Prior, could you offer any input on the results? I know its just a C-3 Trans, but just woundering if this kit does firm up the 1-2 shift as well as passing gear?

Thanks again, Kirk

I would assume, as with any shift kit, it would help to firm up shifts all around. Even the basic C4 transgo kit I used on my 73 helped with all of the shifts.

I've had the kit for quite some time, and will probably have it installed in the next few weeks. There are 2 springs for different shift characteristic s.... I'll be setting it up on the softer setting. It may help save the tranny, but I don' t need rear end issue.
