Help! I've been flim flammed.
« on: August 28, 2014, 02:16:24 PM »
I traded a Turbo 2.3 for a fresh 2.0 pinto motor.  It came in 2 assemblies, short block and head.  I'm getting ready to put the head on, and i put assembly lube on the cam, followers and valvestems.  The #3 intake follower is much different than the other 7 followers on the head.

It appears to be a different ratio than the other 7, barely opening the valve, and then there's a huge gap when off the lobe.

Does anyone recognize the follower that I need?

Looks like it could be a 2.3L rocker arm.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

Are the other 7 regular pinto followers?

The other one looks like hydraulic from turbo 2.3. (
