71-73 front VALANCE have two that are all most the same!?!?!?

The brown one i know for sure is an 72 valance the yellow one looks the same, but it has two cut outs on it and i have no idea why they are a factory cut out!!! anyone have one or know why or what it is for???

beaner is right the yellow one is for the 73 it has the cut outs for the bumper mounts the 73 has mounts similar to or are the same as the 74 and up years
