thanks
however, I traded for a 1953 Jag XK120 kit car with a Pinto drivetrain, so I will not be
able to have stickers, etc, even a VIN on the original car; but the tranny is a C3
1974, as when the car was on the rack I personally checked the numbers on the
tranny's case.
in 2002 I had a beautiful 1952 Jaguar XK120 along with a lovely ISETTA bubble car.
Both (!) burned up in my garage when rats got into the battery cables on the Jag. I
did not have insurance on either one; and my "home owners insurance" just laughed at
me. so the opportunity came up for this, I swapped (great deal for my EX-WIFE....),
and because I will hit the lofty age of 72 next month, I feel I better enjoy what I can
when I can if I can as I can.......
thanks for all the info/advice/help
