Just finishing my '73 Pro - Street project. Registry says I need a title. I bought this vehicle 8 years ago in a different state and only got a bill of sale, no title. Anyone out there can advise me on how to get one or share experience of getting one on-line (cost, ease of transaction, time frame, etc.) ..... Kevin

I've used International Title Service twice in the past . It takes several weeks to 2 months to get a new title. The fees are on their website. They send you a title and tags from Georgia in your name and then you can retitle it in your home state.

It all depends on where you live. I did it recently in my home state of Virginia and it took less than a week, was done entirely online, and cost $10. I had to do it on a car I purchased in Illinois five or six years ago and it cost over $100, required an affidavit which meant paying an attorney, and I waited for seven months to get it. Total pain in the butt! Good luck!
