Thanks guys! I think I'll get that stuff. It rained for the first time in a long time and the baby got wet! Gonna do the doors anyways! I'm going all out, don't need to get on the cheap on the doors I guess.

Thanks,

Dianne

I've bought the door seals, window sweeps and channels and the seals and sweeps worked like a charm. I'm doing the channels in the spring. The only issue I anticipate there is the rivet that goes through the channel to secure it to the door. I believe all I need to do is drill it out and replace it with another in a slightly different position.  Yes, they are a little pricey, but you can do the installation yourself so once you have the items there really isn't any more expense involved. I want to say the parts actually came from Steele Rubber, but it has been a little while. I guess you have to take consolation from the fact that these items keep water from getting into your car, and we know how bad that is for our particular cars.

Winter and rain are coming, so I really need to get it done. So the channels need a rivet  :o  Ummmmm OK, maybe I want someone to do the window seals for me I guess. With my luck I would mess it up and I don't have a rivet gun thing.

I kinda went overboard on mine. NOS doors, NOS hinges & NOS door handles so the $200+ spent on sweeps, channel rubber & seals was not too bad.

THANKS

I will document it for everyone else doing this and put it here or a new thread. It's ordered and will probably be here next week sometime I guess. I'm waiting on if I do it on bare metal or primer.

I have the channel but mine wont be installed till the doors are ready. Somewhere on here is a thread about riveting the anti-rattle clip to the new channel & installing it

I'm afraid to do that right now, think I'll have that done anyway. But now I'm excited, so close to paint!
