I used one decades ago on a turbo motor because the #1 & #4 were running lean and occasionally burning pistons. not sure if it helped much. If I remember correctly the 'diverter' that I used came from a Capri.
Later I found an intake from ford (Europe) that had the 1 & 4 runners directed into the plenum closest to the cylinder head and the 2 & 3 runners into the outside of the plenum. Big improvement from that one
