73 wagon gas tank...

found mine has a leak in the middle of the bottom.. are the 73 tanks the same as other later wagons.....
75 turbo pinto trunk, megasquirt2, 133lb injectors, bv head, precision 6265 turbo, 3" exhaust,bobs log, 8.8, t5,, subframe connectors, 65 mm tb, frontmount ic, traction bars, 255 lph walbro,
73 turbo pinto panel wagon, ms1, 85 lb inj, fmic, holset hy35, 3" exhaust, msd, bov,

I would think so, as they weren't subject to the gas tank recall and subsequent remodeling of the sedan/Runabout tanks. I'm not positive, though.

One can never have too many Pintos!

Pulled a 73 and looked identical to my 78 only difference was the sending unit.

   Easy fix, Turn it upside down, find the leak, clean the area around the leak, solder the leak over and your done. Don't worry about it blowing up as the iron never gets that hot and no flame too. I've done several and they all never leaked again.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.
