Manual transmissions schooling needed
« on: September 06, 2012, 08:38:20 PM »
Ok I have an EAO 2.0, what bellhousings will fit, what manual transmissions will fit and which are the best. I'm thinking about switching to a manual from the current C4 and know NOTHING about these transmissions. Also what flywheels, clutch arms and clutch set up will fit/work best. Will a stock trans be ok behind say a 150hp motor?.  Lastly, are the manual and auto trans the same dimension say from the block to end of bellhousing and from the block to trans mount...so I can keep the trans/motor mounts in the same spot and not hit the firewall.

Any info would be great and pictures would be better.....:).

Thanks
