Machine shop recommendations?
« on: November 15, 2020, 05:06:32 PM »
Is there anyone here in Western Washington who can recommend a machine shop in the greater Seattle area? Primarily for cylinder heads and general engine stuff. It's time to s**t or get off the pot with getting this 2.3T built. Thanks in advance!

Are you doing a performance build or stock rebuild? That will influence which and what kind of shop can be trusted with doing the work.
If it's a stock rebuild that is getting bored oversize, you're going to find that inexpensive stock forged pistons became NLA a long, long time ago. Unscrupulous and/or ignorant rebuild shops have been known to use cast flat-tops that are still cheap and easy to get.
