power steering

 Ok now everyones starting to get the idea my car is falling apart piece by piece lol,I cant hide it.

 I just had the power steering presure hose replaced because it was leaking. But Im still losing steering fluid and theres a small puddle just inside the drivers side wheel on the ground. I put some Lucas stop leak in it today, and going to have it checked to see if the hose was put on poorly,if something else is leaking. Im worried it may be the rack seals.
 
 Theres a seal replacement kit I found,but how hard is it to do if its stil in the car or can it be done stil in the car?

 Some stores list three different racks. O Reilly has three different power and three different non power. To inch shaft,2 1/4 shaft and 1 1/4 shaft for each. Autozone has 2 power,and one non power. Advanced comes up with one specific rack when I put in my car and year.

I guess I will have someone look at it and tell me which one I need.

Now I hear a hissing kind of noise,not really grating,when I turn the wheel to either side quickly while its parked. If I turn it gradually it doesnt do it as loud. So I dont hear it when Im driving. If its going to need a new pump, and a new rack, Im thinking I may want it changed to non power. I had a 79 wagon with non power steering and it wasnt bad.

Will it use the same coupler or tie rod ends? Can I keep the double pulleys and use two belts, just smaller ones since it wont have to go around the  pump? Has anyone here done this?

I believe the rod ends and coupler are all the same, I have a manual rack as a spare and everything looks close although I never held it up next to my power one.

You can still 2 belts, just measure them out.  I'm sure any parts store can find you shorter ones that'll do the trick.  Should be a normal 3/8" V-belt in whatever length it ends up being.
