intake ports to head ports??
« on: January 18, 2012, 05:03:37 PM »
So I'm looking at hot rodding the little 2.3L 4 banger in my pinto wagon.  I was looking at an Esslinger racing head and an offenhauser manifold.  These two have different ports...the offenhauser has dual port oval shaped and the Esslinger is the D-port.  Can I bolt these together or will it not work because they have different ports?  The other option would be Esslinger's cast iron D-port head.  How good is the Esslinger head?  How is it vs the Offenhauser?  Thanks!

Only the Esslinger intake will fit the Esslinger head. All others are not even close.
