HOW HOT IS TO HOT?
« on: March 23, 2018, 09:41:30 PM »
I have a 1980 sedan with the 2.3 i just changed the water pump and hoses. I used one of those flex hoses that are for general use on the top hose and it acts like its pinching off just a little right as it enters the radiator. Temp got up to 210 today but it normally stays around 170 to 180 degree. Im running a factory OEM fan. I ordered another (Shaped Hose) this afternoon and it should be here in the AM. I'm going to change it out and see if that helps with water flow through the engine. At what temp should i be worried?
