how can i tell what size motor i have

i just bought a buggie with a pinto motor and i no nothing a bout it.it starts but wont stay running. i think its flooding out.i has a rochester 2 jet. does any one know if thats the right carb?

Nope... Pintos never came with Rochesters. To determine what engine you have need some more info. More than likely it's the 2.3 since that was a favorite choice but it could be the 2.0. where is the distributor located & where is the oil cap located?
