hot pants bobcat

Has anyone done hotpants on a bobcat? It should not be much different than a pinto, but would like to know.
I know I can get the kit from Mike 73turbopinto@gmail.com I did not find his name here. I found him with a Google search. Has anyone bought from him? Are you happy with the product? Does anyone know of someone else offering this product?
I know this was not made for bobcat because of the big bumpers. Mike offers a bumper cover, I have retracted my bumpers and hope the original kit will fit. Her is a link to what my car looks like now. The stripe that is down the side of the car. Did this originally come in several colors as seen in a google search, or was it offered in just one color as seen in the poster. The poster seems to be white or silver.
any help will be appreciated.

don't think they will fit with wheel opening mldgs, unless you shorten them. Mine fit great.  I used the glass ft. bumper (replaces the stock one) should fit fine.    Mal

Joebob, that is one sharp Bobcat. I love the pumpers pushed back. I guess no filler panel at all? Need to get a hacksaw after that muffler tail now! LOL

It'll bolt up just fine on a bobcat only things that would prolly be in the way would be fender trim and i'm sure yours has the same aluminum piece on the rocker like mine but that would prolly be in the way and need removed. But other then that itll fit just fine the only parts of the original kit that wouldnt work is the true hotpants front valance since its for the 70-73 pintos.
But you could get his new valance hes making or his bumper cover for the very front.

Because the "Real Hotpants valance" is for small bumper cars and on our cars the radiator support/bumper mounts is what I have been told is in the way of it fitting.

Or do the modifying of whatever is in the way to make the older style work.Plus you will prolly need the panel that goes under the front bumper on the older cars to attach the spoiler to and support it.

Has anyone done this? How are the parts attached? Is bondo involved? Do I need to repaint or just paint the new parts?
