help identifing a carb
« on: October 31, 2017, 03:21:53 PM »
Hi! I need to rebuild my carb...but am unable to find any part numbers or identifying info on it. I think it's a 2 BBL Holly but not sure of model number. It is on a stock original 4 CYL. 1980 California car with automatic trans and a problematic choke (doesn't look like its electric). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.   John  :)

As you own a California Pinto that looks like a LA road map under the hood, all I can tell you is that all most every Holly Weber Pinto carb is close enough to each other to use the same re-build kit ( I think! ). I get mine off of E-bay all the time. Just remember its a Holly Weber, not a Holly or a Weber but a Holly Weber.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.
