Dont quote me on this.

I read somewhere on here that Ford used hub-based rims [the stability of the rim mounting resting mainly on the hub instead of the lugs.]
They'd be good lookin on a Pinto, but will it fit?
I'd look into the backspacing and clearences..et c..etc.. before makin an offer. Can't help ya any if it gets home & won't fit..I made that misteke with a '71 2.0 intended for my '75 Runabout.
Bought my Pinto in '12, last tagged in '97. Had it on the road (thanks to a $20) spring '14. Tima to tear it apart, fix it correctly this time....and play with the drive train. Got a totally free & complete drive train-engine, 5 speed, drive shaft, and computer!

If the seller will let you, take the Pinto with and try them on. :) I agree, though, the fwd offset isn't going to be anywhere near right.

I tried my Focus SVT wheels just for grins. Although they wouldve lookes awesome, the hubs on the pinto were too large. Also, the backspacing would have been an issue.

I really like my mustang Pony wheels. The center caps are almost more expensive than the wheels though.
