Heater ducting
« on: July 08, 2013, 08:31:26 PM »
Anyone have a breakdown showing how the heater ducting is connected in a 73 Wagon. I have 2 pieces that came with the car but can't figure out where they go.

The first two scans below are from the 73 Ford manual for the heater system (no A/C).  The driver's vent appears not to get heat, strictly a vent.  The third scan is for the system with A/C where the driver's vent gets heat.  Not sure why the first scan does not automatically appear, but clicking on it seems to bring it up.

Thanks. That's exactly what I needed. One of the pieces is the top hat that connects to the defroster outlets and the other is the lower distribution duct. Now to get them back in.

Getting them in isn't too bad, it's twisting those little metal tabs to hold it in that gets tough
